We own every house on this website
That is not the norm, and it changes almost everything about how a stay feels.
Luxe Stay is seventeen homes across five buildings in three English counties — and we own every one of them.
We are not an agency and we do not manage other people’s houses. Every property in this collection belongs to us, and between us we have fifty years of combined experience in property. We chose the buildings, we did the interiors, and we deal with the guests. When you email, you are emailing the owner.
The portfolio runs from a 600-year-old manor house in Saffron Walden to a pair of Versace-gold flats near Sheffield, by way of two countryside houses in Little Sampford and three maximalist flats on Coopers Lane in east London. They have little in common visually, which is deliberate. What they share is a hot tub in most cases, a cinema room in many, and a standard of finish we are happy to put our own name to.
We list on the big platforms because that is where people look. We would rather you booked here, because it costs you less and it means we can actually look after you.
How we work
Houses are cleaned between every stay by a housekeeping team we employ directly, working to a set turnover schedule for each property — four or five people on the larger houses. If something breaks while you are with us, we want to know at the time rather than in a review.
If you are considering a large group booking, a milestone birthday or a wedding party, talk to us before you book. There is usually a better configuration than the obvious one.
